Tapas Pintxos - Cancún

Great place to try a lot of authentic Mexican food. I think the name has changed into the cantina while I was there. special tequila drinks.

That was our second favorite place to eat on the resort. although the decor and the service was good, eating was very average. the cold buffet meat and cheese were left too long and sweaty. the deserts were also abandoned. the hot plates were average tasting. in general the tapas lacked authentic taste and was very simple.

This little corner restaurant has become one of our favourite when visiting the Hyatt Zilara resort hotel in Cancun. It takes up just a small section of the Maria Marie building, and there are only about five or eight tables. Get there early because once...the lines start, they don't end until very late. Be adventurous! Try things you haven't had before and share. And don't forget to try the cold buffet selections along the wall. Hot items are prepared to order, and the sangria is almost as good as the sangria we had in Barcelona. Muy deliciosa!

My husband and I paid for a taxi to the new Hyatt Z to dine at Tapas Pintxos only to be turned away and told guests only can dine there. This should be noted on the website, it is not!! Very disappointing.
