We visited this local restaurant because they make francesinhas, if they did not try a francesinha before, do this now! the restaurant was clean and the staff super friendly and attentive. we ordered a francesinha for my man and asked if he would have a few changes to him. a frango francesinha bit with a bolo de caco instead of the normal brot and the personal was very happy to host the waky! I had a prego and I can confirm both meals were amazing! we will visit again and we could not recommend if they did not visit this restaurant, then they are missing! prices are also super affordable, this is a typical great eating no fussplatz! oh and they can pay with the card!
Great traditional type café/bar with great choice of food and drinks. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. Very good prices. Visited here several times.
Friendly helpful staff very clean and all set up for Christmas Tables look lovely We visited in the afternoon The staff were attentive but unobtrusive Prices are really cheap we tried one of the local dishes It was something we have never had before It...was super tasty and completely filled us up for the whole day. It was a pack liked toast is meat sausage steak ham cheese served with an egg on top and in a bowel of tasty gravy Sounds and looks crazy but delicious Drinks and food altogether cost €34 Definitely recommend
We stumbled upon this place whilst out walking and decided to stop for a drink. It does not look like much from outside. Kind of a local cafe type place but there were a couple of tables and chairs outside and it looked like the...ideal spot for a rest. We had a large beer. And a small beer and it was a fraction of the cost to what we had been paying. The ladies inside were so nice and the drinks came with some crackers and pate which was complimentary! We returned most days/evenings after that for a drink. Inside was an eating area with a patio area out back spotlessly clean and well used by locals. We decided on the last day of our holiday to have some lunch and so glad we did! We opted for the francesinha special which is the most incredible sandwich bread with ham, steak, sausage and smoked sausage, cheese and egg served in a plate full of gravy and with chips. Oh my goodness, it was fab. A total meal in itself please look at the pics. We also had 2 large beers, a small beer and a coffee. The bill was an incredible €23... if you are in Canico give it a try. Highly recommended
