Vila Ventura Garden Grill - Caniço

Telephoned to book what we were told, we had not arrived in a corner, then it really started to deteriorate! the waiter came anointed that we first wanted to order a drink that had taken together a drink and food order. the starter came to the...at the same time as our drinks, the passable, 5 minutes later the net just arrived on average, no further interaction from the employees how would they wish a sweet/further drink? asked for billing, paid and leave 34 minutes overall not what I call a dinning experience

Nice vila with friendly staff and good black scabbard traditionnal cooking. Interesting local wine served.

Popped in for a quick meal on the way home'. It was extremely busy but we managed to get a table. The food was nothing special but was nicely prepared and tasted OK. I had an omelette with salad and my husband had a risotto...and the portions were a reasonable size. The surroundings are quite pleasant too as the restaurant is set below pavement level and is full of plants and trees. Nice place if you just want a basic meal.

The fish (grilled tuna steak and grilled salmon) and the service were ok. The rest (boiled vegetables with no taste, bad wines by the glass, grill next to the tables, etc was really not convincing.

The restaurant looked very nice from the outside and the smell was very good so we decided to eat dinner. I'm sorry it was a very bad and disappointing experience. we have ordered the bark petada and the grilled fish. the quality of the bark was not high and I can honestly say how for the last two weeks we have eaten a lot of different places. that was the worst. the fish was very well grilled and looked great, but unfortunately it was so salty that I did not finish it. I ordered the French pommes to eat with the fish, but not get rid of the fries, was served when the waiter cleaned the table. house wine is also not very good. the personal is acceptable, but nothing more (we have asked for a scary, twice it is actually somewhat irritating). will not come back and not recommend. I'm sorry.
