änkôr - Canmore

For our birthdays, which are 6 days away from each other, my wife and I always come to änkôr. this time we went with the chef 6 courses tasting menu. unbelievable! everything tastes elevated. the service is quick and competent. many thanks, julie for their attention to our requests. here is what we have experienced: mini donuts with lachs salsa foie gras with grand marnier with orange and aprikosen on house brioche beets on bbq braided and caramelized yellow beets with feta foam parlop with deep roast quinoa, orange beads and tinted fish with ingwer cod fruity different texture with chip crunchos

Truly exceptional from start to finish. Food was absolute art, service was top notch but relaxed. For a non-fine diner, it was in many ways a full experience. Can’t wait to return.

Such an experience. The ingredients you would never think to combine and they work perfectly. I enjoyed the look, the texture, and of course the flavor till the last bite of the plate. Service was wonderful as well. The door opened before I reach out to it with warm welcome by the staff. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu including the wine I loved very much which wasn’t even on the menu. Especially her smile made us smile too and added the happy atmosphere to our table. Thank you very much for the wonderful time, änkôr. We will be back !!

My husband and I dine out often and by far this meal stood out for us. Truly looking forward to returning! We enjoyed the tasting menu and every single dish was outstanding and delicious! The Chef is Michelin Star quality! Thank you Ankor for a memorable experience
