Each was absolutely fanatstic. We did not do the wine pairing. The Bench 1775 Sauvignon blanc (BC) complmented the dinner beautifully. Eaxh coutse was wonderfully presented, and the tastes were stupendous. The portions wwre small, but we all agreed we were totally full at the end. We will definitely return!
The fact that this place doesn’t have a Michelin star is an abomination. Everything from start to finish was incredible. The detail the chef puts into her food is kk blowing. You will taste flavours you’ve never eaten (pine ash? Bee pollen? . You can really taste the passion for foraging and locally, sustainable food from the chef. Not to mention the service is impeccable, so attentive, so personal. And the cocktails (that have spruce syrup instead of lime because lime isn’t local…come on! are fantastic. It’s only a matter of time before some celebrity food personality finds this place and tweets about it and it explodes, so go here now while it’s still possible to get a table.
The food was great! This restaurant has pillows that resemble giant phalluses and while that may be appetizing for some, it makes for an awkward family experience.
Fantastic spot to let the team guide you through dinner. My wife and I have celebrated our anniversary here since they opened. Always look forward to going back!
We have eaten here a number of times and the food and service have always been the best. This is a tasting style menu with optional wine pairings.
