La CrÈperie - Cannes

Very large selection and usual crepes. we enjoyed a long lunch here and the owners were great to chat with. it is nice to sit outside and watch how people walk past while we ate our beautiful meal. I wish we had a place for the cute crepes as if they looked good.

Excellent galettes! we had the galled avec crème de champignons and they were really good. also the apple wine and white wine is great and the location and the staff are beautiful.

We had sweet and savoury crepes — crepes suzette and pouldreuzic. both were completely delicious. the street was nice, service was fast, and the staff was friendly and spoke much English to help us order. - awesome place!

Be warned and read the other reviews. Four of us ordered and unfortunately the waiter brought the wrong crepe to myself. When mentioning this to him he shouted in my face saying “you order you pay.” His behaviour was extremely aggressive. I asked for the...menu and the one he brought me was below the one I had ordered. He continued shouting at all of us and was not going to change my order. Two of us had not touched our food and with his aggressive behaviour we decide to get up and leave. At this point his mother dragged my friend by her wrist in to the restaurant and was in her shouting in her face ‘you pay’ she tried to shut my friend in the restaurant until we paid. We gave them 20 euros but they wouldn’t accept this, they wanted the full amount. They surrounded my friend so she could not leave. In the end they called the police. We were told to pay for what we had eaten or we would be arrested!!! Funny that at this point no one spoke English. This could have all have been resolved if the waiter had realised that he made a mistake. Disgusting behaviour.

We have holidayed in the Cote D'Azur five times in the past three years and every time we come no matter where we are based we head to Cannes for a crepe at La Bigoudene. Whether it's the sweet or savoury variety of crepe, we...have never had a bad crepe here. My favourites are the sweet crepe with the pineapple and chantilly cream or the buckwheat crepe with foie gras, caramelized apple and gingerbread. I honestly believe that this is the best creperie in the French Riviera and perhaps the whole of France. I highly recommend.
