Viet Thai - Cannes

We're in Cannes as one of the stops of our NCL Epic cruise and we're glad to have found this place for lunch. We're skeptical at first (an Asian restaurant in a place like Cannes? has to be a tourist trap right?), but not at all. We found out later that the owner was Vietnamese and we believed him and his wife cook all the food and everything we ordered was excellent and very authentic. Fresh and hot, and best of all the price was decent. One suggestion for the owner, pay attention to your service, if your business pick up, hire more servers, it's a bit slow but since we're not in a rush it wasn't an issue that day.

A nicely decorated restaurant serving Asian food (Thai, Chinese or a mixture). Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Loved the food, had the nems and the pho soup, its was super quick and good price. Have eaten there 3 times now. I love vietnamese food and this is propably the best one I have tried in Cannes. And I have tired them all :)

During our 2 week stay in Cannes, we've eaten from Viet Thai (take away) 3 times.Food is excellent, good value and authentic taste. Excellent and friendly service too. My husband and I have been to Vietnam several times and love the food but struggle to find authentic Vietnamese food in the UK where we live.Can thoroughly recommend the caramel pork (aka pork clay pot) and the spicy prawn & basil rice. Nems are fantastic - both chicken and prawn versions. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

I was this restaurant with some of my friends. After travelling long day in Europe, we miss Asian food. The taste from this restaurant is good enough who is trying Thai food. It's really good .
