It's Boba Time - Canoga Park

I often see places like this, so I decided to give it a try. Where do I even begin? First and foremost, the restaurant was filthy—there was trash everywhere (I noticed this after placing my order). Now, let's talk about the customer service. When I approached the counter, there were three employees, but it took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence. Eventually, I asked one of the guys if he could make my coffee boba with almond milk, and he simply responded with a "yes." However, when I received my drink, I asked if it had actually been made with almond milk, and they said no. I requested that they remake it. The girl’s nonverbal attitude was unbelievable; she looked at me as if to say, "Are you serious?" Yes, I absolutely am, especially since I had asked about this while I was on the phone. Honestly, the wait was not worth it. The drink tasted terrible. Save your money and head to the shop in the village instead. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name of the place, but it's the only boba shop above the ice rink in the village.

I ended up ordering a jasmine milk tea with boba. The boba was perfectly chewy, but unfortunately, my drink was a bit warm. What a bummer! I think it could have really benefited from some ice. However, the caffeine boost I got was fantastic, and the flavor was really enjoyable. I would definitely stop by again if I found myself at the mall, as the atmosphere is quite cozy. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way just for this place, mainly because of the parking situation. The mall is enormous! By the way, Boba Time is located next to Target.

On the downside, the cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. There was trash scattered everywhere, and it looked like waste was overflowing. Additionally, the staff seemed disinterested and worked in a robotic manner. Despite these issues, the quality of the food and drink was good. This place is located in the mall, down by the finish.

Terrible service. Workers could not understand what I asked – quite certain that they were high, because the amount of times I repeated to a stupid face was ridiculous. When I tried to confirm my order (less tea, more milk, because I'm caffeine sensitivity) with a girl and she couldn't understand what I meant, another woman said, she'll see it again and when I got it, it was PURE tea with a splash of milk. Respectless and sincere in view of my health means sensitivity. I know she heard me too, so it wasn't a misunderstanding. I also waited 25min for the drink and of course it threw out when I realized it was pure tea. In addition, the entire floor was vaccinated with garbage and it felt rough in there.

My son is falling in love with this place. Stopped by again to pick up his favorite cookies cream with easy boba. Fast and easy service. Quick find in the mall. Store was clean and had adequate seating.
