The Spider Karage is a must have together with the flavorful edamame. There is a limit of 10 ramen dishes served a day, so you have to be quick. I will definitely come back to this place.
Food was good not great. But it was the arrival that put me off. Restaurant was empty and felt that we were bothering her to be there. Food came out fast as no one there so It was not a long wait as other reviews have mentioned. But probably not go again just felt uncomfortable the whole time due to felt like it was a bother. I noticed when another table arrived it was the same for them. Hire staff if it’s too much for you I say...
It was my first time visiting Bon, and the experience blew me away. The food was even better than I expected: every dish was prepared with love and skill. Little details like the sauce on the spicy edamame, just wow. They are BYO so you can bring your own wine: we brought sake and they provided little sake cups. The atmosphere is cosy and the service was excellent. I had an amazing experience; a night to be remembered.
Went with a few people last night and although the food was very good, the service was slow. 1 waitress rushed off her feet. First time I had to write down my own meals on the order form. Price was good. Miso Cod was small although delicious. We wanted 5 rice bowls to go with our food but waitress said they could only give us 1 rice bowl as they had run out of rice (at 7pm and in a Japanese restaurant!! . They coudl really do up the interior. Its very 70's and not appealing. They should jazz it up a bit!
We went to Bon for dinner to celebrate my partners birthday. First time and I can say it won’t be the last! Fantastic authentic Japanese food right on our doorstep. Every dish that we chose was delicious! Visited again on Friday night with friends and they were equally impressed!
