Chom Chom - Canterbury

Ordered through JustEat. Ordered a butter chicken, it was the completely wrong texture, consistency and did not look like a butter chicken at all. It was very spicy, I order this dish knowing it is mild due to health reasons. I called the restaurant to try and resolve it, however they could not find my order to start with, then was told it was the correct dish, they just added extra spices into the dish, apparently that is how butter chicken is meant to be, I have never had one like that. The man on the other end of the phone tried to hang up on me mid conversation as he obviously couldn't be bothered with me anymore, he argued with me and basically told me I was wrong. Told me there was nothing he could do. This was my first and last time ordering from this restaurant, wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Ordered VEGETABLE chow mein and fried VEGETABLES. But somehow ended up with a prawn in one of them. Luckily I don’t have a shellfish allergy….. (I do.

Do not buy from here. Ordered special fried rice and got rice with absolutely zero flavour. It tasted like it came straight out of the rice cooker, very plain.

Food was really good and the staff were friendly. Honestly felt that the starters were better than the mains. Both cocktails we, the Pina Colada and the Mojito were really good.

The staff are very standoffish. I've got a TooGoodToGo bag twice, wanting to give them another chance and both times, they looked at me like I owed them money. There were other customers, who got the same bags and the guy was smiling and wishing them well as they were walking out but as soon as I walked in, his smile dropped. I'm not gonna bother wasting my money here again, there are definitely better restaurants around the area. In other news, the food is meh. You basically get plain rice and a bunch of chicken in different sauces (curry, sweet and sour, etc)
