The burger was just okay and cost me £11.95, while the chips were possibly the worst I have ever had - soggy and overcooked. I paid £5.95 for them. A flat coke from the machine set me back £4.25 and a bottle of beer was £6.25. The total bill for two people came to £38 for what was essentially fast food. The restaurant itself was dirty, sticky, and smelled of cooking oil. The tables were dirty and uneven. They offered peanuts that seemed old and disgusting. Lesson learned - we won't be returning, and I recommend sticking to McDonald's or Burger King for a quick burger fix.
Dirty tables, an age to wait for food, and then dry burgers and a really horrible tasting hot dog. The chips are nice. When that's the best thing about the food you can find to say, then it's safe to say I'd not bother coming back. Also, it's expensive for what it is.
Located in the historic part of town, this restaurant may seem a bit out of place. While the service was a bit slow, the burgers here were definitely worth the wait. I enjoyed being able to customize my burger with all the different options available. Overall, a nice dining experience.
I visited this today, always a bit dubious about burger restaurants as I am gluten intolerant and can’t handle the bun. I have ordered cheeseburger without the bun. A staff suggestion was a lettuce wrap.. Sold with thanks. The burger was lovely as was the better half’s bacon dog, the chips well cooked with British sourced potatoes. Definitely a quality outfit full marks
I must say, when it comes to burgers, this restaurant's offering was not the best I have ever had, but it was definitely the priciest. The meat was so overcooked that it had shrunk and appeared slightly burnt. I don't understand why they feel the need to overcook fresh meat in order to create a semi-custom burger experience. Additionally, the buns, lettuce, and onions were soggy and unappetizing. On the bright side, the fries were delicious. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant or its Munich location in the future.
