Old Neptune - Canterbury

The day we visited the weather was not great, but the staff we spoke with was very nice and very helpful. they want to make the best of this beautiful place and location again on a sunny day. drink prices very reasonable, in consideration of the discount. would recommend

I have been drinking in the old neptune for about 20 years and it is one of the best and most quirkies pubs in southern England. it always had a mix of local and day trips, so it is usually quite lively. it is a bit into these Covid times, but they have invested in tables and cannons for the beach, so if they are a bit wary of smaller places, there are many sitting places outside. it's a great pub and worth the visit. that was the outer one on holy evening, 2021.

Beautiful location, right on the beach. a real old pub of great character that serves really good pub food. we had the bier broken cod and chips. wonderful.

Beautiful cosey pub directly at the sea, staff were all very friendly and eating was some of the best I ever had. also dog-friendly, so our 5 months old could relax with us. will definitely go back when we visit whitstable.

Awesome place by the sea. Good selection of beers and drinks. Nice atmosphere and staff. Great views.
