Rising Sun - Canterbury

We are also members of the herne bay dining club, but have eaten at most places in the hb since we moved here 4 years ago. on Thursday we had a great meal with the group. imagine, 30 hungry dunes are all sitting at once. we have also eaten here on numerous oksassionen and not only eating is big, but it must have the largest menu in herne bay, really something for everyone.

The new owners, debbie and tony, party on October 7th. had a fantastic night, great atmosphere and friendly staff. there was a disco for the night in which the dj played a good selection of music both old and new. highly recommended. also a good swing band was again highly recommended. also a good buffet was provided for free. good food, good atmosphere, good night. keep them the good work debbie, tony and personal. I hope to visit again soon.

A small distance from the normal tourist place but good to find the walk or the trip. nice eating and friendly reception (best roast that I had in the bay)

Had a really lovely meal with friends. Food was good, the service was good in fact the whole experience was very good. Would recommend this establishment every time. Thanks guys
