After personally experiencing it, I can confirm that the negative reviews of this establishment are more accurate than any other review you will find. The owner, Angela Long, is a terrible, racist woman who mistreats her staff and fails to pay them. Save your money and go to other bars or pubs in Canterbury instead. Avoid Privy Bar and The Loft at all costs. Visit Cosy Club for classy cocktails and superior customer service. Angela Long does not deserve your patronage as her customer service is abysmal and the business appears to be a scam.

Alex was an amazing host for the evening at the Privy. I highly recommend trying their cocktails and experiencing their exceptional service. I have had a Long Island tea at other places before, but the cocktails at Privy were outstanding. I will definitely be returning!

The restaurant has a leaking ceiling with no safety signs posted, giving off a damp smell indicating a long-standing issue. The staff member appeared disorganized and unprofessional.

Hi people, FYI when I have visited this place, I came to see the Worst bar ever! The drinks were watered down, and the bartenders were rude and unprofessional. The atmosphere was terrible it was dark, smelly, and just overall unpleasant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers. I won 't be coming back here. moreover the owner is a racist

If there was negative rating, i would have given that. Worst experience ever, never gonna visit to this dump yard again and I'll never suggest it to others also. Even the way lady manager(seems owner) treats employees is extremely disrespectful. Their menu as well as the place stinkssss!!! PLEASE DONT VISIT THAT PLACE!!!
