All freshly cooked, well presented and decent portions. I had the battered cod and chips and struggled to finish due to the size but it was so good I had a clean plate. My wife had a dish from the Asian section and you can tell it was cooked by an Asian chef. The smells coming from the kitchen were amazing. The home made Filapino ice cream is to die for. We shared a selection, all delicious the Purple Yam flavour was the best and a must try. Overall one of best valued meals we've had in a long long time and we eat out regularly at very nice Restaurants, Gastro Pubs etc. We'll done The Oyster Pearl!
Absolute gem! We went for iftar today with family and children. Very cozy and friendly restaurant, friendly staff and great service. All meat served were halal, had option to have non beer-battered fish. Portions were very good. The only negative thing would be, the starter calamari was bit small in portion, but super tasty! Would 100% recommend this place!
Booked a table on 28th January for a meal 5 people on 27th February in memory of our mum (her birthday) who had passed. Turned up and was told they no longer do food on Mondays and Tuesdays. So I said we booked, he got the diary and lo and behold there it was table for 5 at 6pm. He didn't know who took the booking and just apologised. So we had to go elsewhere
Best food we have had in a very long time! The beef rendang was outstanding! Fresh and full of of flavour. Never had Asian fusion food done so well! We will be back with family and friends. Thanks again to the brilliant staff (Lady who had the Twins) sorry we can't remember your name but your recommendations were perfect!
Had a lovely lunch at this rather off the beaten track restaurant. Good range of seafood, and also non-seafood, on the menu. The serving staff were friendly and efficient. Interesting boards by the entrance door, giving the history of the building going back quite some time. The site of a former chapel?
