The West Gate Inn - Canterbury

This restaurant was really disappointing. It is likely one of the worst Wetherspoons we have ever visited. The hot drinks were weak and tasteless, and served lukewarm. The avocado muffin was very disappointing, and the toilets were not well-maintained.

Came here this morning and spent a couple of hours waiting out the bleak weather. Nice breakfast muffin £3.71) which included free and unlimited Coffee. Good service as always at a JDW.

Popped in here, lovely atmosphere, very busy, but still good fast service. Stayed longer than we expected as friends arrived late so was nice!

Visited this establishment tonight the place was cold it seemed they had the air conditioning on it was very uncomfortable i drank up left to go to the black griffin pub which was nice warm

Visited with the family, wanted a quick, value for money meal Been before and we've been quite satisfied but this time it was terrible. Asked for the table to be cleaned, food and dirt from previous guests, and was simply wiped down without any cleaning product. Its ok we guessed he was having a bad day so ordered via the app. Four meals, two arrived cold, one of which was inedible. Wine glass was dirty. Worst of all was the attitude of one of the male staff/supervisors....yes its a value pub but giving a smile and being polite costs nothing
