Popped in here after a long day at Wingham Wildlife Park for a bite to eat after having no success finding anywhere else. A really old pub with a huge history, dating back apparently to the Roman times when it was a theatre. No parking but the service was polite and fast, the food was hot and fresh and four meals were delivered to our table within fifteen minutes of ordering. A relatively small pub but would highly recommend! Typical Greene King pricing and standards very impressive!
Sat outside, pleasant on a warm day, not to busy. Food was freshly cooked, nice and hot. We had the 2 pub classics for 11.49, very good value. Staff pleasant and would visit again next time we come to Canterbury.
A great pub and restaurant. Being based within an old building it is spread over lots of different areas with plenty of character. There's a good food menu and wide variety of drinks available, all reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the service was good, food came out nice and quick.
I came to the three tuns last week to have a quick bite to eat in my lunch break. I was served by a lovely mixed race girl (I think her name was Emma but can’t be sure I had a signature stack burger with an extra burger which was MASSIVE but with extra encouragement (and winding up from the barmaid I finished it all and was very impressed. Will definitely be coming back. :
