While walking around Canton's downtown square at lunchtime, we saw Eats on the Street advertised in front of an eclectic emporium of gifts, home decor, and vintage items. We meandered to the back of the store and found the restaurant. We ordered a turkey, bacon, tomato wrap and and the restaurant's renowned chicken salad croissant. The special was Swedish meatballs over pasta. The meatballs were large and plentiful. Our food was fresh, delicious, and individually prepared. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The restaurant is small, but quirky. There are tables that can be moved around to accommodate various sized groups. You can order food and take it with you. I eyed the freshly baked blueberry muffins made that morning. Blueberry muffins are not just for breakfast anymore! The muffin was like a dessert at the end of a meal. It was warmed with a side of butter. We are not from Canton, but we will definitely stop here again when we are out and about. I highly recommend Eats on the Street for breakfast or lunch. I enjoyed looking at the vendor booths as we left the restaurant. A real gem in downtown Canton.
The staff here are awesome, they serve really big drinks too. I tried their grilled cheese sandwich w tomato basil soup one day, the sandwich was awesome but the tomato soup tasted kinda bad, so I threw that out. Last time I went there I had one of their burgers, I was very disappointed in the taste of the meat of the burger and the price. Quite honestly this restaurant has a very good atmosphere and friendly people but the menu is very hit or miss.Vegetarian options: Salads
Always grabbing Eats on the Street on my lunch break as a teacher. They’re always so kind and quick to deliver!
I have always been a fan of Eats on the Street. The food is always good, prices fair, and employees are friendly. I feel in love all over again today when I accidentally spilled all my off while eating at the park across the street. My husband went back inside to replace it but when he explained what had happened, they replaced it free of charge. I was definitely impressed with their kindness and customer service.Kid-friendliness: I have often brought all four kids in for a snack and the employees don’t seem to mind at all. The kids like to look at all the cool stuff and they love the food there.Dietary restrictions: I cannot have diary and I’m so thankful they have diary free options for their huge iced lattes!
Had lunch there today with my brother-in-law. Had the meatball grilled cheese. It was done perfectly with house made meatballs. Highly recommend this friendly place.
