Baja Bbq Shack - Canyon Lake

Went in to stave off hunger pains before later dinner plans and ordered half portion of brisket and cheese nachos. They were flavorful, hot, and generous with cheese and meat. Waiter (Daniel) was superb. Owners remodeled over winter and it looked nice. Every seat is a great view of the lake too.

We've found the food here to be pretty lame but it's outweighed by the great lakeside overlook and cool outdoor seating. Don't order any of the entrees, just stick with the hamburgers and apps.

Great Food on the lake!!!. What a great surprise to find a local restaurant that is decent! We had the fried catfish and veg of the day fresh and delicious. The cocktail sauce is spicy and wonderful. Hot wings were spicy and good. Fried tilapia with homemade potato chips was great. They have a decent wine list. Service was great. Live music on Thurs and weekends. They also have another restaurant by the same name by the time share condos but have not tried. But have heard it is good. We ran into several locals we knew that found this place too. Good for kids. Some dress is very casual because you can dock your boat right in front and come in and some were dressy casual. Nothing fancy but a great view and good food! We will be going back.

My parents and I went out for some bar food and drinks. The burger was delicious, the view was amazing, and our waitress was fantastic! The only downside was that there were a lot of bees at the bottom.

The food was excellent, and the restaurant boasts a stunning view with lovely decor. I tried the Brisket Nachos as an appetizer and the smoked turkey sandwich for my main dish. Both were delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my overall experience at this restaurant.
