Golden Corral Buffet Grill

We come here a lot for breakfast, and every time it's amazing, so we figure we'd come here for lunch. Not so good, and we really don't know why. Steak tasted funny, everything just seemed off. The guy running the grill seemed more worried about keeping a tip jar in view than actually cooking. Everything-including dessert options-was bland and tasteless. What the hell happened? Guess we'll just go here for breakfast.

Good was ok for a buffet. Nothing to write home about. What I really want know know though is: 1 Why were there two employees having a smoke break right outside the customer entrance? Not everyone wants to walk through a cloud of smoke when they enter a restaurant. Kindly take the smoke break out the back door. 2 Why in the name of nasty, is there a freaking parrot squeaking in the dining area?! You know, the last thing I really want is a parrot squeaking while I try to eat, and birds are just nasty anyway. Does the health department approve of birds on the dining area?

The food was so bad that I could only eat 2 or 3 bites and asked for a refund for the first time in my life. The salad dressing was rancid. A lot of the food was cold or tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. My server smelled like he hadn't had a shower in quite some time, which makes me wonder if he washed his hands. This is one of the more expensive dinner buffets in the Cape area, and it is absolutely not worth it. I should have gone to the chinese buffet instead, or even a freezer meal would have been better. I was so disgusted by the entire experience that I wasn't even hungry anymore when I left. Avoid this place. It is nothing like other Golden Corral buffets that I have visited.

Went with my family the day after thanksgiving for dinner. This place was really horrible, floor was covered with trash and pieces of food, a worker stepped on a chicken bone only to leave it. Lots of food looked like it had been baking on the buffet for to long. This place has lots of potential, but house keeping needs major work. Really dirty place, won't be going back anytime soon.

The food is amazing! Everything I tried, I loved! My issues are with service and cleanliness. Our server was great until a female coworker came up to him. Then he was on his phone and laughing and generally flirting with her. I had asked him 30 seconds before she showed up for drink refills. He forgot all about his customers when she showed up. I mean, yes, she was very pretty but still. Also, the bathroom was so nasty that I held it. There was an actual nasty feminine product on the floor. Stains everywhere. It was just disgusting. If they clean their kitchen as well as they clean their bathroom, I wouldn't eat there.
