Montes Reef Resort - CAPE GLOUCESTER

Coffee is cold, cake is old and dry, service is typically meant for tourists. Coffee is very weak ,spilt all over . The coffee is a very cheap brand no good for a real coffee drinker. Most food comes with chips . The best thing here is the ocean view. Will not be back here.

I took up an Easter 2023 cancellation offer by Montes. They first offered 4 nights but I offered 3 nights, Which they accepted and took a 50 percent deposit. After a week or 2, they rang me back, saying there was an administrative error and they would have to withdraw my booking. They offered no compensation or anything. It is my suspicion that they got a 4 night booking and ditched me . NOT Happy!!!!!!!

We paid $150 for dinner and couldn’t eat more then a few bites. Didn’t take our kids allergies seriously and even when we asked for a simple chicken salad it take out

We ordered some light dishes and sat with a view of the ocean. It was simply stunning. The service was exceptional. Definitely worth the trip.

This little bar has an amazing view. Relax with a cold beer and take in the scenery. The hosts are friendly and the fresh prawns were delicious.
