We stopped for breakfast, great service, friendly service. Very quaint and unique! Chickens walking around and a very friendly kitty cat. Loved the waffles and eggs!
Good coffee, and the Dutch crepes were very good. Our server was sassy (in a good way) and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. No frills, and very much a home-cooked experience.
We stopped at Dancing Moose for lunch while driving the Cabot Trail and were very pleasantly surprised. We had pannekoeken, which was a new experience for both my wife and I, and we loved them. We both had the apple, raisin and bacon selection and ate every bite. I'll return if I have the chance.
My sons and I ate breakfast at The Dancing Moose 3 times during our 5 day stay in Cape Breton. The chef, who I think was the owner, accommodated my son's nut allergy plus one day we had a tour scheduled and despite the fact that the cafe was very busy, he made sure we got our meal fast so we could get there on time. The food is delicious and unique. We loved everything! Highly recommended! Excellent place. If we find ourselves in Cape Breton again we will be back!
