The Village Buffet - Cape Town

This restaurant was not just a party, it was so much more. I really loved their wide selection of wines. It was the most diverse and interesting place I have been to in a long time! What a great time!

I recently visited this buffet and it was by far the best one I have been to. The food was delicious and well cooked, with extremely fresh ingredients. I used a groupon voucher which made the experience very affordable and certainly worth it. I visited more than once, once with my family and another time for my cousin's 21st birthday. The only downside was the wait time for the sushi platter to be refilled. Despite this, I still think it is worth a visit as they offer a variety of foods to cater to everyone's needs. While I wasn't a fan of their desserts, the overall food quality was excellent.

O...M...G..!! If you like food and you like value for money. Then the Village buffet is the place to be! They really know how to show you a good time! I heard about them a few years ago on the radio and from other people who were raving about them. I also suggested once, we have our year end there. But never quite got round to going there. Until today... My friend and I had an early lunch. We had a discount voucher from Cape Town Coupon. But even without the voucher, their prices are amaizing, way better than many of their peers. They brought us towering mixed a platter) I haven't seen so much food in a while! We each took more than half home. Its lockdown and like most of us, I'm watching my pennies. I have been checking lots of rib and seafood prices online. And many many times find the other places to be plain ridiculous! Often I just dont order anything. I really didnt expect this pleasant surprise. Thank you Village Buffet. I plan to go back.. a few times, as I HAVE to try: the starter mussels, the seafood platters. the waffle, Chicken curry, lamb curry, lamb chops etc( See menu pics attached).

Omgosh where to start. Firstly, they are strict on protocols which I highly appreciate. The waiter explained how the buffet worked and made sure we were always okay. The food was lovely, warm and taste delicious.

There is a variety of freshly prepared delicious food that is also visually appealing. And bottomless beverages. They are so generous with all the food and drinks. They ensure that the food is constantly topped up and warm. The dessert is prepared while you wait and the ice cream is flavourful. The staff are so friendly and efficient and welcoming. The decor is so authentic and the chairs are very comfortable. Clean and neat cutlery and crockery
