Contribuisci feedbackA small but tastefully packed menu in a shop with seating for 8 (although the owner says he plans extensions both in the shop and in the menu). The presentation is very simple, but the food is good value for money. The Curries are more Durban style than Cape Malay style.
The food was not great but it was good. Food was a bit spicy but not too much that you couldn't enjoy it. The chicken curry roti portion was quite small, expected a slightly bigger portion considering the price, and expected more and a creamier butter chicken sauce. The bunny chows were better but needed some more gravy, which is an option add-on to be paid for. They are available to order from on the Orderin app, if you are close enough for delivery. Hope to get even better food if I order again.
As a Durban ex-pat that used to live on Jaipur Palace broad beans bunnies, this place didn't live up to expectations. The gravy is far too runny and should be more of a paste. Somewhat tasty but not Durban curry by a long shot. Good enough to keep you going though
Very nice little place with friendly service. Very well priced but I was pretty dissapointed with the curry. It has a good taste, but unfortunately it was extremely oily with a little bit of sauce. My fiance was pretty happy with his bunny on the other hand ....
This is what passed for a Bunny Chow at this place paid R70 for this. I would have to say it's a place for people that have never eaten curry or Indian food. I would not send anyone here. The crust of that bread was like a Brick. Called Ashwina to complain. Response was nobody complained all day then she claimed she made it clearly the people in the back did. Dont waste your time even the lamb was tasteless , was more like lamb boiled in some water and spice. Honestly its was disgusting
