Bodega El Atroje - Capileira

Had lunch here in early March, good coffee, so decided to stay for lunch. Ordered what we thought was light, big mistake, huge portions! Having said that the croquettes were superb, not fried in stale oil. Decent glass of white wine, sat in the sun what’s not to love.

This is a fantastic bar/restaurant. The ambience is brilliant, the decor truly Andalucian, hanging giant hams, artwork and really welcoming, happy staff. We didn't eat here, but went to the bar for drinks, loved it.

We chose Atroje as it had shaded tables on side of quiet street. All food served looked like generous portions of quality food. Our lunch for two of sweet red pepper salad and Especial Atroje (local meats and cheeses) was more than we could eat! 34 euros with drinks and coffees was good value for the high quality. Recommended.

Un restaurante estupendo. Comida exquisita, trato súper atento y detallista, calidad en el producto, muy recomendable.
