Blazing Bagels - Capitol Hill

Ordered a bagel online that had a generated pick up time 30 minutes later. I showed up 10 minutes after ordering and figured it wouldn’t be ready yet which was fine and was told they were working on it. Waited 35 minutes total and they still did not have it. I ordered one bagel with cream cheese. Other locations have no issues but this one is always a mess. I watched at least 15 other people order and get their food or pick up online orders while I waited.

What a great place! So many bagels and spreads to choose from, and a lot of sandwich options too. Really friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere! Go try it!!

It was a really nice place with an amazing selection of bagels and sandwiches. The seating outside was also really nice to sit and eat.

BLACK PEOPLE AVOID THIS PLACE. I was treated very poorly. I waited for 5 minutes to be served as the cashier chatted with an old white couple and was very friendly and offered to slice their bagels. Once it was my turn, he immediately asked another cashier to serve the white man behind me in line. The cashier was very rude to me, just pointed at the machine for me to pay, and didn’t even offer to cut my bagels. It was like I was a nuisance. Never going again and I will be letting other people of color that this restaurant is clearly only meant for white people.
