The forêt boréale and muffin I got from Chez Boulay were both delicious! Also enjoyed the croissant chômeur (which travelled surprisingly well).

An incredible dining experience at a French bistro located in the heart of Old Quebec. Our family ordered 3 French onion soups (cappuccino style) and ordered another one to split after the original order! Wonderful service only have good things to say about this establishment.
Try their sucre a la crème- one of Quebec's specialties- they had the best. I ordered a hot beef sandwich that I didn't love, best to stick to their bread and butter of sweet treats :
