This is an unassuming, simple restaurant on a busy street near the old city. The only reason I am giving this restaurant five (5) stars is because I cannot give it 6/5. The owner (and hostess and cashier and waitress and busperson) Imen absolutely makes eating here an experience. She is kind and generous and a real people-person. My shish-taouk platter was the best I ever had, the presentation and the taste were amazing. My wife had the vegetarian platter with falafels and it was equally delicious...my wife and I will definitely be back the next time we are in Québec city.

Wonderful warm homemade Moroccan food on a chilly evening! We especially loved the falafel (plate comes with choice of three salads; we got hummus, tabouli, and cucumber tomato salad) and the Moroccan mint tea. We also tried the shawarma gyro sandwich and the couscous merguez (sausage) plate which were excellent.
