Northern Outdoors - Caratunk

Beautiful location, and very accommodating of my company's lodging needs for the week. The convenience of having the bar and restaurant on-site was hard to beat after getting back from an exhausting day outside. The cabins were clean and quiet.

Went with a split group. Half the group arrived around noon the other half were on ATVS and had complications so they didnt arrIve until closer to 2. Appetizers that were ordered 30 minutes after the first half of the group arrived didnt get to the table until just before the ATV group. Soon after entrees were ordered (no drinks were asked for by the waiter, Christopher was his name according to his uniform) Still waited until 3:00 for entrees and NO drinks until we made it a point to ASK for them. Super disappointed with this experience. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. Nearby activities: Whitewater rafting, ATV rentals

We had an amazing time on the full-day rafting trip, and the lunch provided was delicious. Our guide, Grace, was exceptional. The resort itself was lovely, offering great amenities. We stayed in a log cabin, which was not only beautiful but also perfectly situated. However, when we arrived around 8:00 PM, we were disappointed to find that the kitchen closed at 9:00, so we missed out on dinner. I would definitely recommend eating before you arrive or bringing food with you if you're going to be late. Despite the dinner issue, we had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to do it again!
