While the place was clean and everyone was friendly, there was only one server working and I had to wait over half an hour to place my order and get my food
Im giving 2 stars because the service was horrible. The food was great but took forever to just get anyone to take order. We were given an empty ketchup bottle and never asked if needed anything else.
Didn’t even get part of our orders. Food was burnt to hell but we sat waiting for 40min so it came out cold. At first we were told we’d get 20% off but that was before I waited 10min after getting our already cold food for silverware. Some of the glasses were dirty so we didn’t even drink them. Told this to the girl at the front and the manager comped the whole shabang. They literally just need leadership and organizing and they’d be fine. Worst service I’ve had by far.
Considering the Dennys I grew up with, this Dennys is top notch. The prices are about in line with other sit-down, all-day-menu places. The food was way better than I expected. I had the lumberjack slam with pancakes. Everything was excellent and cooked perfectly. If there was something I feel could have been better, the bread choices could use English muffins and bagels. At these prices, it wouldn 't cut into profits too much. The restaurant itself had plenty of parking. The space was smaller and grungier than Dennys I was used to. However, the interior had the feeling of a Greek diner, which I also grew up with, so it appealed to me just fine (if only there was homemade rice pudding... .5 stars. Too expensive for most students, but restaurant is on the townie side of 51.
