Hostal La Zamora - Carcabuey

Hostal modesto pero cómodo y limpio. A destacar la amabilidad del personal, Jesús es un crack. Solo desayunamos pero el jamón estaba muy bueno. Planeamos volver.

He tenido el placer de alojarme 3 dias, 2 noches en el hostal La Zamora y volveré, es el clasico hostal que sin grandes lujos te hace sentir como en casa en el marco incomparable de la sierra sub betica entre Carcabuey y Priego de Córdoba trato muy amable de todo el personal, aunque sin desmerecer a nadie yo resaltaria por su simpatia, su saber estar y su don de gentes a Jesús al cual queriamos agradecer la información tan valiosa que nos proporcionó en todo momento, nosotros veniamos de Barcelona y desconociamos esta preciosa zona la cual recomendamos 100% siempre que se alojen en el hostal La Zamora el cual tambien recomendamos, se come muy bien y con precios muy economicos.

Buen trato y buena comida. Precio acorde a la calidad. Servicio rápido. Rabo de toro estupendo y torrija muy buena. El resto de postres más regular.

My family and I were holidaying in the area and we were so impressed after the first night we had eaten there, which most of us had the piglet. It was succulent and so tasty with amazing crackling, it was accompanied by butter roasted apples. We went back on oiur last night to celebrate before going home. On the second night I had the roasted octopus, it was divine. Cooked too perfection! The presentation was spectacular. My sister had the shoulder of lamb and it was excellent. Some of my other family members had the burgers and the sirloin steak the second night and they really enjoyed them as well. The two girls waiting on us were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. This place is a true gem, a must if you are in the area.

I’ve taken my girlfriend and her family who happen to live locally for a quick lunch on their outside terrace. When we asked nicely one of the waitresses whether we can move the outside tables 1m further just so we are sat in the sun we have been told very un politely that it is not possible. We didn’t understand why and no explanation was given. We had to leave and went to a different restaurant with outsider seating as we didn’t feel very welcome at all. My girlfriends family is Spanish and were also shocked with the attitude of the young lady.
