Freaks Cafe & Cantine - Carcassonne

I occasionally stop in with my wife and dog for breakfast/brunch. The breakfast is excellent. I have the salé version and my wife the sucré. I usually get scrambled eggs and bacon with toast etc. I can't remember the price, but it's about €7 or 8 euros per person. Excellent value.The staff are very friendly and helpful, and speak English. The ambiance is delightful. There is a sort of lounge area with comfy chairs, a bar, and the actual restaurant.I haven't had a proper meal there, but they look beautiful.It is way above any other place serving breakfast in the area, and well worth the time and money.

Je n'étais pas retourné chez Freaks depuis longtemps et c'est toujours aussi bon.La cuisine est inventive, gouteuse et le service souriant. Tant mieux.

Unbedingt empfehlenswert! Alle Gerichte! Nett und lecker angerichtet. Moderne französische Küche, asiatisch angehaucht.

Envie de fêter les vacances, s’offrir un resto et passer au hasard rue de Verdun, le nez au vent, rentrer, alléchée par le menu du jour :- une belle boule de burata en salade, magnifique, goûteuse, étonnante de saveurs variées.- du poulpe à la plancha avec une sauce à l’anchois, servi avec des pommes de terre nouvelles et des petits légumesUn verre de vin 19€.Des mets fins, de belles présentations d’assiettes et des produits frais. Emballée par ce lieu très agréable. Service rapide et chaleureux. Une adresse à garder précieusement !
