We actually enjoyed this food more than most of our resort food! We came with a tour group and this was a beautiful restaurant to have a nice break after being on the sugar cane factory tour. The drinks were absolutely lovely and the service for such a big group was very good (about 30 people . They said the fish was mahi mahi and I strongly doubt it because I've eaten a lot but I still enjoyed it. Like most food in Cuba it was over cooked but it did taste good. There was a starter soup that was very hearty and filling that tasted amazing! There are bathrooms here and it's heavily implied you should pay(tip? for toilet paper, none is supplied otherwise. Toilets did not flush well even for number 1. I would love to come back and prefer off a menu, such a cute plane.
Best food so far in Cuba! Way better than the resort buffet!Had the fish and rice and enjoyed it.
Food was excellent. Lime Daiquiri was perfectly refreshing. The setting was lovely. I will eat here again for sure. If you are looking for something authentically Cuban, you must eat here!
So it seems everyone stops here on a tour. NO KIDDING ABOUT IT. This place is amazing. You hear the comments about how awful the food is in Cuba (I found the resort to be ok) but this was just 5* dining on its own. And the staff were fantastic. The setting is beautiful but outdoors so maybe avoid if the weather isn't great!
