Was served by obviously untrained and rude staff who looked at me as if I was in the way. They took my money ok though. Cup of tea was the most expensive I've ever had, served in a tiny cup with the tea bag still in the cup and no saucer so had to dump the tea bag on the ground. Tiny bit of milk in a minuscule jug and the overly priced flapjack was factory bought, rapped in plastic and given to me as was with no plate. When I asked for a plate the staff looked at me as if I was being unreasonable but did begrudgingly give me one. The music blared out so we couldn't really have a conversation and my overall experience was basically very poor.
Nice food for breakfast, very busy and were not told rough wait time and it did take quite a while I know they were busy but could have said. Drinks were nice but a bit small just know it is small and very busy especially on a Sunday.
Stopped by to grab a take away coffee. Waited for 30 minutes. Poor customer service, no communication. No comments of ‘thanks for waiting’ or ‘sorry for the wait’. We could see the staff were busy but these small things make a difference.
Gwych ETO! ALWAYS AMAZING! CROESO CYNNES A BWYD BLASUS DROS BEN. Welcome always warm and food superb as oer usual, New seating arrangement in cabin CLASS!!
We regularly have a Sunday brunch here. However, on a recent visit , the ambience and service was very different. There has been a change of ownership. As a Welsh person and a learner of the language I was made to feel embarrassed because I ordered a coffee In English! The service was patronising and parochial and conducted yng ghymraeg , I felt that this was to prove a point ! An expensive menu for basic choice which resulted in my family ordering a coffee and leaving. So disappointed. We will definitely look for another Sunday coffee and brunch stop.
