The service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. The average cost per person was over £100. Rating: Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend the Sunday Roast and Sunday Lunch. There was plenty of parking available, with free parking options nearby.

September 2023: The new owner has made an incredible difference! Everything seems to be effortless now, with exceptional service and fantastic food. Haven't been to the pub for years even if I leave 5 minutes walks away Since the ownership changed recently it looks like I can only hear good things about it. I have twice in the last two weeks for the pub quiz. Can't say a lot about the food yet but the chips are really nice . The ambience during the quiz is really good and it's nice to see the village back in the pub. Will try food soon Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped here for a quick pint with my sister as the Lewis arms in Pentyrch was closed for some reason. Hadn’t been here for years, but will definitely visit again. Excellent pint of Guinness Service: 5
