Ichiban - Cardiff

Friendly staff, fresh delicious food and so much variety! I would not hesitate to come back very soon x

Last year, their quantity of fish has decreased in their meal times, while the price has risen. I don't order anymore.

I ordered a takeaway at deliveroo tonight. eating was amazing, we were so impressed. the dishes all tasted very fresh and were full of taste. they would be highly recommended!

Ichiban just returned from a delicious meal! we have paid out an impromptu visit as group of 6 and we had excellent service, delicious food and a great time!

So I used to order quite a lot from here- starters, sushi and hot dishes- usually I would get temakis or guncans and a mixed seafood fried rice or squid (chewy and tasteless). Last few times I had food from here something just wasn't right...the...rice wasn't fresh at all, the uni wasn't either as the colour was far far away from what an edible sea urchin looks, tastes or smell like. That's sushi so maybe not everyone is gifted but a fried rice that is described in a way in the menu and I had it so many times and then comes extremely oily and with half of the seafood it used to...I would say that they don't understand what consistency means. Anyway, won't order again from here and I somehow regret it because I used to love their food, it was one of my favourite restaurants in Cardiff.
