Noodle Box - Cardiff

As a strict vegetarian for over 20 years, I recently ordered the Veggie Sweet Box from this restaurant. However, upon eating the noodles, I was shocked to discover that what I thought was tofu was actually chicken. I am extremely angry about this mistake. While this place is usually good, they have completely failed on such a basic aspect.

I used to enjoy Noodlebox back in the early 2010s, but it has declined rapidly since then. While the food is still decent, the restaurant lacks the charm it once had. It feels more like a storage unit now, the atmosphere is unwelcoming, and you may even have to dine with a vacuum cleaner in sight. If that's your thing, then this might be your new favorite spot.

Ordered a delivery which was punctual. Excellent food. Beautiful presentation. Reasonably priced. Happy to recommend.

We order for delivery, rather than visiting the restaurant. We don’t order regularly from here, but on two occasions we received a meat dish instead of the vegetarian version. One was something in the vegetarian bento box (possibly the gyoza), the other was chicken gyoza instead of the vegetarian. We made a complaint on their website and by email and received no reply, which is why I’m now leaving this poor review. Otherwise the food was ok.

Superb service; friendly and great food! We had the chicken bento box and a noodle box each. The delivery was very reasonable; arrived hot and was very tasty. I’d highly recommend exceptionally good value!
