Sawadee Thai Takeaway - Cardiff

Got a takeaway, food was over an hour late and stone cold, even crackers were stale. Plus only rated 1 on the food hygiene scale.

Late, cold and not great... won’t be using again. Ordered through Deliveroo who refunded my order so that’s something but a very disappointing meal.

Our food arrived an hour late and cold. The portion of rice was only half full. The Thai curries lacked flavor, thickness, and ingredients other than meat, with my duck being hard and chewy. When I complained to the owner, they were in denial and had an uncaring attitude. I spent £24 for a disappointing experience. I suggest trying a different restaurant for a better comparison.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The food is terrible! Each dish was cold and impossible to eat. The tempura batter was thick and gooey. The squid was overly burnt, the pad thai was a mess, and one of our items was even missing. When we reached out to the restaurant, we were told that I was the first person to complain in 5 years. Really?? Skip this place.

Delivery was an hour late, so cracking start. Pad Thai was mush and lacked any depth, it was effectively a sweet mush. Missing side item and rice container was only half full for some reason. There are better items, like anything, than this place (as if the food hygiene rating wasn't enough in itself).
