I like popping into this Starbucks when visiting Cardiff. On my most recent trip, I was greeted by Tom who gave excellent customer service and till and Jazmyn made me a wonderful caramel macchiato. Considering I came in during a rush the service and quality of my order was perfect and I couldn’t fault the staff for their efficiency. Will definitely continue to come here!
It took about 20 mins from queuing to receiving my order with 2 customers before me. The hot chocolate and caramel macchiato had a weird after taste that I have not experienced before and were tasteless.
Waited over 20 mins in a queue of 8 people. Only 2 staff in at lunchtime on a Saturday.... crazy. At least one other sat in an office/on break. Forgot my cake too. Won’t return in a rush as nothing in this place happens in a rush
Everyone knows that it is the norm to be asked your name after you order at Starbucks so that they can write your name on your cup to not cause confusion on which cup is who 's. This was not the case in this Starbucks. I ordered my regular coffee at this Starbucks branch and was not asked my name. I didn 't think much of it though as the orders in front wasn 't asked either so it must be normal round here. I waited for about 5 minutes till my order was called along with another and was plonked on the desk by a woman called Alex . Confused as to which coffee was mine (as was the other girl), I asked Alex which one was mine while she was making other drinks. She then gave me a how could you not know kind of look and repeated what the drinks were. I thought well if knew which one was mine I wouldn 't be asking her. Perhaps she shouldn 't have plonked the coffees on the desk and continued making other drinks and waited for them to be collected. Overall, Starbucks uses the system of marking people 's names on the cup for a reason, so stick to it because it works! And in regards to customer service, being a little more polite and friendly to customers wouldn 't hurt!
