I went here with my partner and we were worn by all the experience. to start with the cocktails are amazing, and with them they can not complain and they are well dimensioned and delicious. the menu is one of the largest I have ever seen so much. select! for the starter we had crispy Bon-Bons and crispy garntacos, favorite was the tacos! for the net we had chicken cheladas and the mixed grill. mischgrill wasn't amazing, but the enchiladas were amazing! total beginners, main and cocktails for them can't complain! would go again!
My wife is Venezuelan, and there are not many Latin American restaurants in Great Britain outside of london that are not part of a chain. we have visited cardiff and had a nice time throughout the round. Eating and cocktails were excellent, friendly service, would recommend
We were already a few times before in the restaurant, eating was always delicious and staff very attentive. this was the first time we ordered a takeout and the terrible experience will mean that we never use the restaurant again. we had to. wait over two hours. when it arrived (after frequent call in restaurant the order was wrong! the most disturbing was that they sent a fish tacos instead of bark meat, and I am allergic to fish. the food itself was cold and overcooked (bef empanadas dry and batter dark brown in color). the only positive was the churros, but this is not hard to get wrong! I'm sorry for the poor just eat driver who felt my angry. the owner promised a refund. I'm not gonna keep my breathing as he put the phone twice on my wife!
We visited Cardiff to see the university and then needed to find some lunch locally. My daughter found Vivo Latino through Trip Advisor and we liked the look of it from the reviews. When we first parked up we were a bit dubious but the...minute we walked through the door, we were welcomed and the lighting and decor was warm and welcoming too. We had an absolutely delicious meal, and super service. We really enjoyed the Latin bread (slightly spicy with tomato salsa and sour cream) and side salad, followed by steak fahitas, and then churros. Lovely agua frescas to drink. Nothing seemed too much trouble to the lovely man running front of house. I have attached photos of my fahita (loads of steak, onions and peppers piled high on the platter) with a stack of wraps and accompaniments; I apologise for the quality of the photos though!
