Vidas - Cariboo G

We spend Canada Day and had the delicious full rack of lamb (8 pieces,) seafood fettuccini, and the BBQ ribs. From start to finish Duracell was an excellent hostess/owner. She even gave me some baby spider plants that are now thriving at home. I would definitely go back.

We were very happy with the dinner and especially the desserts. The owner was our server and she was very pleasant and helpful. Good selection of food and nice atmosphere.

Great dining experience. The restaurant overlooks the 108 Lake and there are tables on the deck outside so you can take full advantage of the view. Very good service and the food is 1st rate.

Had another wonderful meal tonight at Vidas. We come to 100 Mile once a year and wouldn't ever consider missing a chance to eat here. The veggies are fresh, the meal is varied and the view beautiful. I had the Vidas chicken. YUmmy. My friend had the ribs. I tried one....to die for! For dessert I had the cheesecake. Normally this is not my favourite choice but I could have eaten 6 pieces. The owner makes it herself. It's light and delicious. The service is great. Anyone staying in the area or passing through around dinner time must make this a stop.

Good food, but don't go there if you'r really hungry. (Small portions) Good service, nice surroundings for a night out.
