Cutty Sark - Carindale

We had a fantastic experience at the Cutty Sark Restaurant on Sunday afternoon. The service was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. We were seated in a beautiful function room with stunning views of the river, adding to the overall ambience. The Manager was extremely helpful in organizing our celebration and the food was top-notch. We can't wait to come back and dine at this excellent restaurant again.

The restaurant had a pleasant setting and attentive staff, but the menu was limited with only 3 choices for each course. I ordered the wagyu beef and lamb rack, but was surprised when the beef entre came out raw. My husband had the scallop entre and barramundi main which he graciously swapped with me. The desserts were rich, and I chose the cheese platter to finish the meal. Overall, the dining experience was okay, but the raw meat was a disappointment. The reviews for this restaurant on TripAdvisor are mixed, but it seems like we just picked a bad day to visit. We went for lunch on a Sunday and were disappointed to find a very limited menu. There were only four other guests in the restaurant and they were out of oysters and steak, so we settled for fish. The fish dish was good, but overall we left feeling disappointed. The server was friendly but seemed inexperienced. I'm not sure if I would give this restaurant another try.

Website advertised lots of beers and cocktails....No Coopers pale ale, so i decided i would have to drink mojitos. No bar staff to make them so the chef made me a vodka lime and soda...but only 1shot left in bottle, and they had no more vodka!!!! My partner ordered a bottle of red and it was delivered. After sitting in the nearly empty restaurant (Friday 7pm and only 1 other table) we decided we would not meet our friends here and left. After we offered to pay they said no and let us leave with the botle of red. Called our friends and met them across the road.Where is the owner???? What has happened to all the staff and customers???? 0 out of 5 from us

After recently enclosing the outside part of the restaurant with large glass doors, we were kept nice and warm while still having the beautiful outlook of the river. We had the four course seafood degustation for dinner which was not only incredibly well priced but the food was impeccable. The restaurant always has great service too.
