Gourmet Restaurant - Carleton Place

Hands down, best pizza in Carleton Place The crust is medium, with a generous amount of cheese (but not too greasy).

This is a funny little restaurant My daughter and I love it, and it's a bit of a step back in time.

If you are looking for a very tasty meal for a reasonable price without the frills this is your place.

We hadn't been to this restaurant for many years so we thought we'd give it a try again.Very pleasantly surprised. My Chicken Parmigiana was excellent. Crispy chicken, lots of melted cheese. The spaghetti was a little over cooked but good none the less. I couldn't eat it all and brought some home. Huge serving! My husband had the Fish and Chips, with gravy on the fries. The fish was a little over done and not the best we've had but the fries and gravy were very yummy. Again, huge serving. Our server was super nice and actually seemed to enjoy her job! Reasonably priced, pleasant, and home style food. We'll definitely go back.

This is a family-style Canadian food kind of place. Hot beef or hot turkey sandwiches, breaded veal cutlets, fish and chips among other meals on the dinner menu. Good breakfasts and the usual sandwiches, burgers, pasta meals. Just like you remember from years ago. They have a set price dinner menu, and even the rice pudding for dessert. They also have the very best pizza in Carleton Place. Take out or eat in only. A bit more expensive than the delivery pizza places, but worth it for the great toppings and the tasty pizza. Not ever a hint of acidity in the tomato sauce. You won't leave here hungry!
