Of you are looking for the best Fish&Chips in Carlgnford Ma Bakers is for you! One of the best fish& chips I ever had. Very crunchy, not oily, delicious and fresh. We've try the pizza as well, very delicious and fresh. Highly recommended

Went to carlingford on saturday i was the driver so i wasnt drinking, Come to realise the famous Ma Bakers is the only pub in carlingford that sells non alcoholic drinks! Every other pub we went to looked at me like i had three heads when i asked for a non alcoholic gin but not in Ma Bakers the girls replied with what type and what type of fruit for my gin glass the girls on the bar were great craic and made sure my drink was as fancy as it would of been if it was a real gin : , All the other pubs in carlingford need to get with the times as not all of us are jumping out of a mini buss alot of us are drivers and we like to still enjoy ourselves and not sit with a glass of coke like the other pubs in the village, The company of others at the tables beside us and the craic was great very eye catching little pub with lots of old time decor very cosy, will definately be back for a night out next time! Also a big shout out to Aidan Baker always goes over and beyond for his costomers always has a smile on his face and a welcoming hello! Ma Bakers is a little gem a must visit! five stars from us

Nice spot. Been here for food before and not been disappointed. This visit for drinks was also quite relaxing until younger barman took over bar duties around 6 p.m. on Tuesday 23rd May. Signs all over the place saying Gin and Cocktail Bar. Asked for cocktail menu and told don't do cocktails. Asked about signs and told curtly that was Saturdays only. Asked for gin and tonic and pint of Cider instead. Only words spoken by barman as he slammed drink down on counter were €16.50. No please or thank you. Rude doesn't describe it which is a pity coz staff here have always been really polite and friendly. john p.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and the service we received was exceptional. We spent most of the day there, enjoying the great atmosphere in the pub. I had won a Facebook competition for a bistro and cocktails for two, but since the cocktail bar was closed, they instead provided food for the four of us in the bar. The food was delicious and we will definitely be coming back!

I came here for the first time last night and I couldn't find a single fault. The cocktail making class with Danny was fantastic and the perfect way to kick off a hen party. I would definitely recommend this place. The live band was great too.
