The Uptown Tavern - Carlinville

Enjoy the outdoor seats. Server was friendly and our food was delivered in time. Nice beer selection. We had the black bean burgers. With the sprouts as an appetizer. All delicious!

In any case, you want to give the rustic feeling. Too much for me. No Handicap ramp. Eating was good and server polite.

The last time I was here in November 2015. I don't know if it was called Uptown Tavern back then. I came with a friend to get Taylor's chili. The bar area is beautiful, with a kind of elegant appearance. It looks classic. If I lived in Carlinville, I'd probably be a regular.

Holy taste explosion! Tried the pony shoe, I need a nap!!! We also tried the snake bites, calamari and fried ravioli. All were DELICIOUS!!!

Good food and atmosphere. I had burgers, pommes, pony shoes, salads. It's delicious. Her cheese sauce is one of the best. Friendly staff and fast service.
