Town’s Edge Diner - Carlinville

My husband and I decided to check this resturant out. He ordered the Ruben Sandwich and I ordered the Patty Melt. I also ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich to go. My husband Ruben was not a Ruben but some chop beef on Rye Bread. No saurekraut, minimal sauce. My patty melt was a thick burger on Rye with a slice of cheese and a few onions. Now, while the food was ok, it was the false advertisement that got us. Definitely not what we had expected. Our Philly Cheese Steak was also not what was advertised. Now the fries where good. Overall, our meal was ok, not sure if we would come back.

We had the Buffalo breaded chicken horseshoes the D's western burger everybody really enjoyed their food . We are definitely going back .

We were in Carlinville for the weekend. I had the ribeye the first night. Very flavorful. Great service.Breakfast the next morning was good.Saturday night had the sloppy Joe. There tater tots are too notch.If you're in Carlinville, don't miss this restaurant.

Great people . The owner is amazing and they have a banquet hall for parties and I love it . I have held 2 parties here and will continue to do so with all the grandkids birthdays .
