She tries hard as she knows that her eating is disturbing for everyone, but she hasn't in the position, much progressed in the last 10 years since this beginning. at this opportunity she tried to eat the margarita pizza she had ordered, but it found difficult because the tomato sauce was a little too clumpy for her. we noticed and tried discreetly how she could wrap the meal when the waiter came by and so sensitively talked to us to find out if there was a problem. she wouldn't answer when she could say that my daughter was uncomfortable. when we explained the situation, she spoke directly with my daughter and asked her exactly how they like her pizza and they resurrected that she was perfect in her right to ask for the food as she wanted it. then she returned to the kitchen and a short time later she brought a pizza with much less tomato for my daughter. to live in ten years with this eating problem as a family, this is the first time that our situation has been treated with such sensibility and helpfulness. not only that, but eating was delicious! we are just sorry that we are only on vacation in the opposite direction, otherwise we would eat here all the time. this is undoubtedly the best service we have ever received anywhere in any restaurant.
I visited casa romana last week with family. our party consisted of two omnivores and two vegans, and we all found every amount of choice. as a vegan I have sometimes decided for a simple tomato pata or pizza without cheese in Italian restaurants, but the efforts casa romana have gone to serve to plant-based eaters is really impressive. they offer a complete vegan menu that is wonderfully varied. I enjoyed garlic bread for my starter and a beautiful creamy mushroom pasta for my porn. during our meal the cook made with us a real effort to come out of the kitchen to ask for our opinion and to offer us vegan parmesan for our pasta. even if we were filled at the end of our meal, he appeared with some vegan desserts to try (a medaillon and a brot and butter pudding) and both were delicious. it was so wonderful to come to a mainstream restaurant and have received and embraced our dietary options instead of seeing as inconvenience. many thanks, casa romana. we will definitely return when we are in town!
The best Italian vegan food we had. cheese garlic bread and arancini for appetizer, pizza and pasta dish for main. the starters were by far the best part and would go back in spite of being in the opposite! would recommend if at all in carlisle!
This was one of the best meals I had as a vegan. many vegan options that are clearly marked on the menu. even a vegan irish coffee on offer that I would like to have tried, but unfortunately was too full. both my partner (Fleisch-Eater) and I enjoyed everything we had. the vegan cherry garlic bread was absolutely incredible! our server (tototo was so courteous and friendly, and even brought me a lollipop with the bill after I had notified myself that the other free sweets that my partner had traces of milk. he was so thoughtful and friendly. an absolute good and star! I only wish we lived close to us so that we can be regularly!
We have come here a few times because of eating and never disappointed. has a vegan dedicated menu and the customer service is always incredible, highly recommended
