The garlic bread was the strangest I've ever had - no taste of garlic, soggy dough, too much runny butter, and a large dollop of sloppy tomato sauce. It was dreadful. The pizza wasn't much better. It's a shame because the location is really good.
This restaurant was absolutely awful. We had pre-ordered our meals for a party of 15, but when two of us ordered gnocchi, we only received 5 small pieces mixed in with fusilli. It was clear that they had run out and didn't care. The food was tasteless and the service staff were unkempt and inattentive. The upstairs restroom was covered in dust and cobwebs, giving off a disturbingly neglected atmosphere. Overall, a grim experience that we had to endure.
I appreciate the fact that they offer a vegan menu. The minestrone soup was decent and served in a generous portion. However, I found the potato skins starter to be quite pricey for only four pieces of potato. The sauce, on the other hand, was delicious.
Went for lunch with my family. Ordered 3 half pints of fizzy drinks with no fizz. Had a garlic bread that was floating in oil on then plate and raw in the middle. Informed the staff that we did not want it.They offered a new bread but we had nearly finished our meal. Then we sat listening to the manager complaining about us in the kitchens saying garlic bread had butter on it what did we expect.I can tell you that I expect the bread to be cooked and I expect that I can pick it up without it slipping through my fingers and I expect that the bread is not sat in congealed butter once it has cooled down. I used to go a lot to that restraint but won’t be spending my money with you again.
Lovely independent Italian restaurant. Friendly and helpful allowing us to take our dog in too. Good vegan options. Range of superb pizzas Delicious garlic bread Everything really tasty Thank you
