I had soup which was delicious and a generous chunk of crusty caraway seed bread which was excellent. My friend had a Super Food salad which included rocket, couscous, avocado, pieces of sweet potato roasted with cumin seeds, pomegranate and feta cheese. She also had a chunk of the same bread as I had. My friend said her salad was the best she had had in months!
Always very good, friendly staff and great food selection. I've had lunch there sometimes, or just a coffee after a walk round upstairs. Always very good
Lovely ambience ,dull menu . Made to feel like an idiot when I ordered a soup and a cheese scone .Instead of soup for me and a cheese scone for my Mum please .Separately . Not v busy at 1pm on a sunny day in school holidays .
Nice location, but the service in the cafe is extremely slow, having been a few times, no improvement. Would not recommend which is a shame, as this cafe does have plenty of potential,
We popped in here as we were meeting friends for lunch, only to find 3 items : soup, chicken stir fry and a bean salad on the hot food menu. There was a very tired looking salad bar...the result the four of us dined elsewhere. Two of us had coffee while waiting for our friends and that was good, but noticed how expensive the cakes were.
