Hungry Horse The Turf Tavern - Carlisle

Been to hungry horse many times and go for the food quality and portions for the price you pay. Suddenly the quality and portions you get have changed dramatically and not worth the money. Will not go again.

Pub itself is not bad if it was kept clean. (Toilets need a good scrub and table should be wiped with a clean cloth, Rather than being sticky). The only waitress was extremely busy and with a smile. But the food was really poor, we waited a long time whilst everyone around us had their meal and left. So clearly something went wrong with our order and food tested very dry as if forgotten and reheated.

Busy day in the restaurant but service was still great and food hot and well presented. Great value offers on the menu.

Went here with the birthday girl we had a three course meal with drinks and found it delicious service amazing good breaks in between meals we wi be back .thanks

Met with friends after work for an early tea. Food was good value for money and staff were lovely. Have been before and would go again.
